Keep your Freedom-of-Choice!
The Affordable Health Care Act of July 1, 2013 cost patients with Medicare Coverage their Freedom of Choice! Medicare auctioned off the DME equipment to the lowest bidders on walkers, wheelchairs, scooters and power chairs therefore eliminating thousands of providers nationwide including LTC Wheelchairs from billing medicare for those items.
LTC Wheelchairs is still able to bill Medicare advantage or cost sharing plans including: Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Health Partners, Medica, U-Care, United Health Care and others
LTC Wheelchairs highly recommends switching to HMO Coverage for the patients in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. By choosing "your Medicare Advantage Plan" you also choose the provider network that is best for you...not Medicare. Now is more important then ever to keep your Freedom of Choice!
